Mark BrownlieMark Brownlie

Mark Brownlie is the St Augustine’s Festival (SaF) Event Director. His main responsibilities include festival scheduling and event management tasks such as: talent scout, artist management, stage management and pre/post production duties; as well as promotional skills such as: event branding, marketing activities and media relations.

Mark’s background is firmly based in a love of music from very humble beginnings as a bass player in covers bands to an accomplished singer/songwriter of original material. His current musical outlet is as part of a band called The Sliders. It is this love for live music that has helped direct his interests towards all things music related and has resulted in him becoming the focal point in the founding of the St. Augustine’s Festival, which continues to go from strength to strength each year.

For any more information or to get in touch with Mark about absolutely anything; from advice about putting on a show to possible musical collaborations, then e-mail him at mark@saflive.co.uk.

"Daddy" Paul Graham"Daddy" Paul Graham

Paul Graham, or Daddy Paul as he is known in the industry, is the St. Augustine’s Festival (SaF) Chairman and Visionary, without whom the festival would still be a dream. He has built up significant experience in event organisation. Paul has been involved in the music business for a number of years, having learnt the ropes as a guitarist in a number of cover bands.

He continues to play in bands, but now also takes on the management responsibilities. He is one of the leading experts in New Age Media, having had a book published concerning Multi-Media Messaging.

For more information regarding Paul's entertainment concerns visit: www.dpentertainment.co.uk. He is available for event organisation and management, and is very willing to give his time to help with charity events.

He's the Daddy!

Supporting Cast

Mark Smith

Mark Smith is one of the central figures on the Ipswich music scene. He plays drums in loads of bands, is an excellent sound engineer, hires out PA systems for all sizes of occassions, has a mohikan (sadly, no longer pink) and last time I checked, had a girlfriend and was holding down a steady job!

As far as we’re concerned, he is the main man and will be providing all the necessary equipment and expertise to ensure stadium-quality sound. His excellent sound engineering skills will make the event run smoothly and ensure our pesky musicians have got nothing to complain about. You never know, the singers may be able to hear themselves!

Mark’s contribution to such events has been tried and tested and we can’t think of a better man to do the job. Just give him a beer and leave him to get on with it.

Paul Felton

Paul hails from a little village in north-east Essex. There's no point naming it, since you won't have heard of it - it's only claim to fame being that Steve Lamacq also grew up there.

Paul has a long history in Website Design, which was how he got involved in making this site a reality, working closely with Fehin. He spent seven years running the official Ipswich Town FC Website (the first football website on the internet...) and once licenced one of his creations to Microsoft for use in their UK and German television commercials.

Away from watching football and PC's, Paul can be found playing and listening to all kinds of music (except jazz which is just wrong...). You'll be able to see him performing as part of The Usual Suspects at the St Augustine's Festival.

Fehin Quin

Fehin Quin is the Belfast genius behind the artwork and graphic design behind the SaF website and promotional posters.

He is currently pre-occupied with getting married but his timely input to give the website the look and feel we have achieved cannot be underestimated. What a fine job he has done and what a top bloke he is.

Cheers Fehin!
